October 4, 2022 – Bel Air, MD – Har-co Credit Union is excited to open the doors to the new Har-co Community Resource Center at 54 E. Lee Street in Downtown Bel Air on October 18th 2022!

The Resource Center idea began as an outgrowth of Har-co Credit Union’s strong desire and commitment to support the community. Turning 54 Lee – once used for storage – into a functioning and vibrant space to bring real value to our members has been a priority. This revitalized space will be used to support the community through a variety of initiatives.

Educational seminars which include financial literacy for all ages, homebuying support, fraud protection, and more will be hosted throughout the year.  We’ll continue our dedication to local businesses as we encourage them to utilize the space to host meetings if they need extra space, as well as one-on-one support from our commercial partnership team. The Resource Center will also be open to our members for their own organizations such as HOAs.

“We have a member experience pledge here that every employee signs, which provides a blueprint to deliver an outstanding experience to our community,” states Gil Kennedy, President and CEO of Har-co Credit Union. “The new Resource Center elevates that pledge by providing sources of education to all of Harford County as well as a space for small organizations to convene when needed.”
