With crunchy leaves and a cool breeze, fall has arrived! Harford County has a variety of festive family activities to take part in this year. Check out all of these spots and events:

    A Harford County tradition since 1928 – enjoy weekend hayrides, pick your own apples and pumpkins, as well as a retail store with a variety of products.

    Weekend hayrides run from the last weekend in September through October. The hayride brings guests through the apple orchard and the pumpkin patch. For those that would rather walk to the fields themselves, the Lohr’s staff suggests bringing a wagon or cart to haul back your picks. “Pick your own” apples and pumpkins is available during all 

business hours.

  • Jones Family Farm Pumpkin Patch, 2107 Philadelphia Road, Edgewood, MD, 21040.

    Enjoy all sorts of family fun at the Jones Family Farm in Edgewood! Pumpkins are available for picking, or on display in all sorts of colors and sizes. Wander through the corn and straw maze, or bring a set of old clothes for scarecrow making! Gourds, corn stalks, straw bales, and all sorts of fall decorations are also available.

    Weekends only and October 16th: Hayrides to U-Pick pumpkin patch, and the corn maze scavenger hunt. (Prize for completion!) Please note the fields will be closed during rain.

    Wagon rides to pumpkin picking, fresh fruits and vegetables, flower arrangements, and a market with all of the festive trinkets you and your family desire.

    Brad’s Farm market offers hayrides to their U-Pick pumpkin patch on weekends throughout October. Tickets are required for the hayride but are free of charge! Rides will run on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., with the option of walking to the field yourself.

    A Ravens themed corn maze is open daily, September 26th through October 31st from 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., closing early at 2:00 p.m. on Halloween.

    Experience the 14th season of Harford County’s own Legends of the Fog, a haunted attraction with a brand new drive-thru experience for 2020. Tickets must be purchased online, with 30-minute intervals available to reserve for your group. Roll through the fog if you dare! 

  • Parks and Trails of Harford County

    Don’t miss out on Maryland’s peak fall foliage week, beginning October 26th. Vibrant red, yellow, and orange leaves will cover hiking trails and walking paths, turning these spots into festive wonderlands:
