If you have been following us here at Harford Lifestyle, you know we love our local A.B.C’s (artists, businesses, and creators.) We had the opportunity to chat with Rosy Mora, the woman behind the brand to learn more about her business, Blackberry Glam!

Originally from Costa Rica, Rosy planted roots in Harford County. With her background in law and a full-time job, she was looking for something else to do with her free time.

Since she could remember, Rosy has always been crafty. Her obsession with earrings made it easy for her to hone in on her craft. “I was looking to have a business and be my own boss. I wanted it to be something I was passionate about,” stated Rosy. “I knew that was my thing.”

In Spring of 2022, she got to work! She began her new venture of creating polymer clay earrings. This was something that she enjoyed doing and it didn’t feel like a job to her. “Each pair is so unique. I can make about 4 pairs in a slab of clay. It’s so hard to recreate colors and patterns so each set of earrings is so special,” she told us.

OH, did we mention where the name came from? Mora means blackberry in Spanish. With these unique earrings Rosy is making, it’s only appropriate to say she is adding some glam to your look. Be sure to check out her website and her social media to see where you can find her stunning creations and to also check out the other amazing jewelry she has to offer!

Rosy hopes to see her earrings around local stores and is open for more opportunities locally. Be on the lookout for her at craft fairs, vendor shows, and other local events in Harford and Baltimore County. Her advice to her community is “if you have a dream, work on it and keep going.”
